Key Features
The Master of Accounting (MACC) consists of all units required for the Postgraduate Diploma of Accounting together with either the CPA program of CPA Australia or the CA Program of the ICAA. Students who complete the requirements of the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and who do not take out that award can obtain the award of Master of Accounting by completing the CPA or CA program while enrolled in an additional 8 credit points. The Master of Accounting effectively allows candidates to count the CPA or CA program for credit toward a Masters degree.

This program is suitable for students with a bachelor degree who require fuller understanding and study of accountancy and who wish to complete the CPA program of CPA Australia or the CA Program of the ICAA.

Graduates of the Master of Accounting can find careers in: chartered or CPA accounting, financial analysis, auditing, taxation, risk management, system design and analysis, financial control, company secretarial and merchant banking.
