Structure of the Course

The MIST/MIT double degree requires completion of 12 units. Each unit is a full-semester unit (160 hour workload) carrying four postgraduate credit points. The MIST/MIT double degree is earned when 48 credit points have been completed. The program can be completed in 18 months of full-time study or longer by part-time study.

For comprehensive details of the course structure, preliminary program and units available visit the GSO website.

Students commence the double degree with the MIST component. Progression to the MIT component of the double degree is conditional upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.75 over the first 24 credit points.
