Research Expo

EXPO is an annual event, held every year in November, designed to showcase the work of Higher Degree Research students in the Division of Economic and Financial Studies.  It is a research intensive day bringing together early career researchers and academic colleagues to promote and advance research within EFS.  EXPO is an ideal forum for collaborative, focused discussion on cutting-edge research.

The day provides excellent opportunities for HDR students from Accounting & Finance, Actuarial Studies, Business, Economics and Statistics to present their current research and receive critical feedback within an interactive and an inclusive environment.  Four concurrent sessions run throughout the day, with research students giving a 15 minute scholarly presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions, comments and discussion.

EXPO 2007 was a stimulating and enriching experience for all involved with about 120 people attending the 60 sessions. To learn more why not open up the program and read some of the abstracts.

For 2008 Students, preparation for EXPO 2008 is currently underway. More information is available on EXPO 2008 web page.
