Applied Finance Centre

The Centre for Applied Finance was established in 1980 and delivers the world's largest Master's Program in Applied Finance (MAF).

The MAF program provides graduates with foundational skills in applied finance as well as the potential to specialise in corporate finance, financial risk management, funds management or treasury. This qualification is truly portable and is available in Beijing, Singapore, Tokyo and a number of Australian cities.

Students can start the program in Sydney and, if necessary, finish in, say, Beijing or Singapore.

The program is taught by staff who have both excellent education qualifications and substantial industry experience. Accreditation from professional bodies such as the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance, The Finance and Treasury Association Limited, the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission attest to the quality of the program.

The Centre’s PhD program in Applied Finance is closely linked with an active research agenda and PhD scholarships are available.
