Macquarie University's 2006 April Graduation Ceremonies, from April 19 until April 28, will celebrate the achievements of five honorary award winners, 15 university medallists, 7 outstanding teachers and 4,400 graduates.
Six graduation ceremonies will be held for 1,438 graduates of the Division of Economic and Financial Studies. Students will be graduating from more than 60 programs including Master of International Business, Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration with Bachelor of Economics.
Dean, Profesor Ed Davis AM, congratulated EFS graduates, "Graduation is a time to celebrate with family, friends and colleagues and reflect on student success. It's also a time of opportunity, to examine how the skills and knowledge you have acquired will help you make decisions and contribute to the society in which you live."
"Graduation ceremonies provide a public occasion to acknowledge both the achievements of students as well as the expertise and dedication of their teachers," he said.
