Who to contact

At Macquarie postgraduate students and programs are administered by several different areas. It is important that students contact the correct section

• Student Enquiry Service (SES) is the first point of contact for all student enquiries, except for International students who should visit the Macquarie International enquiries counter

• Postgraduate Studies Section (PGS) provides administration of postgraduate coursework students

• Higher Degree Research Unit (HDRU) provides administration of research students

• Macquarie International (MI) provides administration of International students

Australian Postgraduate Coursework Applicants

Applications for MCom and MIB programs must be lodged through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Contact the Student Enquiry Centre for a hard copy of the application form, or you can get information and apply through the UAC website.

Please read the information about preliminary programs of study for Australian applicants who have not completed business-related units in their bachelor degree.

For Australian students about to complete a preliminary program in order to progress to the MCom or MIB, the Progression Form for Students Completing Preliminary Program must be completed.

International Postgraduate Coursework Applicants

International students should contact Macquarie International regarding admission to Macquarie University.

• Appeal against a final grade

• Change of Unit Enrolment - use this form to withdraw from your course, to discontinue units, or to add units. 
• Course Status Letter Request - for work purpose only.
• Course Completion Letter - for immigration purpose only.
• Application for Special Consideration - use this form to apply for special consideration for examination.
• Request for Graduation - to inform us of your intention to graduate.
