Key Features
The program provides a pathway into higher degree research for candidates without prior research training or experience. It comprises two compulsory units, one of which involves undertaking supervised research, while the second is a selected coursework unit in research methods, chosen from a range of units, as appropriate to the discipline in which the candidate will undertake research.

The program is suitable for graduates wanting to gain entry into higher degree research, who have not undertaken Honours in their Bachelor degree and have no substantial research component in their coursework Masters.

Students are required to undertake a research project EFS800, worth 8 credit points, and a unit selected from:
- ACCG893 Research Methodology in Accounting
- ACCG805 Research Methodology in Finance
- ECON840 Applied Econometrics I
- ECON835 Applied Econometrics II
- MIST811 Information Management
- STAT840 Research Methods EFS
