| Entry Requirements: | Applicants for the Master of Commerce in Marketing must hold a university degree equivalent in standing to a three-year Australian bachelor degree and should have gained a GPA of 2.70 or more (out of 4.00). Structure of the Course
The MCom in Marketing is a coursework program consisting of eight units. For comprehensive details of the course structure and units available visit the GSO website.
Note: Some units in the MCom in Marketing are taught in weekend classes.
International study programs
Students in the MCom are able to participate in an international study experience such as a short 4-6 week program at an overseas university, a semester of study on a student exchange program or an articulated double degree at a university in another country. These international study opportunities are available to both Australian and international students, are partially funded by a Macquarie Travel Grant and count for credit toward the MCom. The MCom in Marketing is recognised by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) as meeting the academic requirements necessary for Associate Member status. The MCom in Marketing also counts for credit toward the Certified Practising Marketer program of the AMI.
