Information Systems Projects:
Collaboration for Environmental Conservation: Chadi is currently pursuing a PhD where he is investigating electronically enabled collaboration in environmental conservation in multiple cultural contexts.
ERP Performance in China: Chadi is co-supervising an honours student’s research project investigating the factors affecting ERP post-implementation performance in China.
Accounting and Auditing Project:

Learning and Teaching Projects:
AIS Education: Chadi is working on an ongoing action research project that critically reflects upon the challenges students encounter in Accounting Information Systems (AIS) units, the possible contributing reasons, and potential pedagogical avenues to consider in alleviating these challenges. This project is supported by a LEAD2 grant from the Division of Economic and Financial Studies.
Leadership and Assessment: This project aims to develop case studies for accounting and AIS examinations that are constructively aligned with the learning objectives, in-line with current learning and teaching research, and that provide students with access to realistic problems similar to those that they might face in their work environment. This project is supported by a grant from the Carrick Institute.
Chadi has also reviewed academic papers for top international conferences in Information Systems.
Teaching Chadi is a Lecturer in Accounting Information Systems. Since 2006, Chadi has conducted lectures and tutorials for Accounting Information Systems (AIS) units (ACCG250, ACCG251, ACCG355) at Macquarie University. Given his qualifications and previous work experience in accounting and information systems, he has endeavoured to complement his teaching with real cases and examples, as well as cutting edge research.
Prior to his commencement at Macquarie University, Chadi has been involved in lecturing, tutoring, and demonstration in over 12 subjects at five universities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Namely, has taught at Macquarie University, The University of Sydney, The University of New South Wales, La Trobe University, and Central Queensland University. Most of the subjects he has taught emphasised organisational use of technology, and therefore required considerable knowledge of business, organisational, and technological aspects.
Chadi also holds several certificates in teaching and training, and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PCHE) at Macquarie University, specialising in Learning and Teaching. His aspiration for high quality research based teaching has led him to initiate an action research project that reflects upon challenges that students face in AIS units and potential pedagogical avenues to consider in alleviating these challenges.
