Profile
Currently, Dr Murray is a senior lecturer in Business with research interests in strategic HRM and organisational development and change in major companies. More recently, he has examined the relationship between labour management policy and demographic shifts in Australia . He has lectured extensively for over 10 years in both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees including the MBA degree at a number of Australian universities. He has also delivered academic programs in Singapore , China , and Sri Lanka . Dr Murray is a consultant in leadership and change to industry, and has extensive research publications in major international journals.
Teaching Interests
Teaching interests have traditionally focused on strategy and power in organisations. Dr Murray also teaches in Human Resource Management Development and Contemporary Issues related to Human Resource Management, and corporate strategy. He has taught a large range of management units over the years such as organisational behaviour, leadership and change, and international management. For the contemporary issues subjects, his interests mainly lie in the relationship between change, leadership, and top management teams.
