Mrs Renu Agarwal is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Graduate Accounting and Commerce Centre and Macquarie Institute of Innovation, Macquarie University. She has 25 years of extensive industry experience in several strategic and operational roles in the data and telecommunications industry at a global level and has been in several management positions at the State Rail Authority of NSW, Telstra Corporation and its joint venture global company REACH.

In addition to her management experience in Australia, Renu was a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Communications at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. For the past 2 years, she has been active in academia development with teaching assignments at the Graduate School of Business and Professional Development, University of Wollongong; Sydney Graduate School of Management, University of Western Sydney; and the Innovation Management, Policy and Practice Group, Faculty of Engineering, University of Technology teaching management courses to MIB, MCom, MIS and MBA students. Currently, she is teaching “Strategic Operations Management” course at the Graduate Accounting and Commerce Centre and “Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy” at the Macquarie Institute of Innovation, Macquarie University.

Renu is in her final stages of completing her PhD in the area of Service Operations Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney. Her special research interests lie in the area of Service Supply Chain/Service Value Networks where she is exploring the effects of collaboration upon innovation and elevated service offerings through dynamic capability building.

Renu delivers specialised and customised theme lectures on supply chain/value networks with application to industry to clients of Access China Centre, APRIM, International Relations, Macquarie University. She also provides consultancy services with specific regards to supply chain/value networks. Added to her credentials, Renu has several research papers published in the field of Network Management Systems and Service Value Networks.
